Wrapping Arms Round Many
Announcing the 2026 WARM PROGRAM at
Immaculate Conception Parish

WARM is St. Mary’s County winter emergency sheltering program. It is an interfaith non-profit organization made-up of churches of all backgrounds who open their doors each winter to help the homeless. The churches host those in need of a warm place to sleep from Sunday evening, November 8, 2026, through Sunday morning, March 21, 2027. More than 70 volunteers are needed for all the tasks during our week. We will be hosting up to 15 guests each night from December 13 through December 20, in the Parish Center from 5:30 pm until 7:00 am each day.

We need volunteers for the following:
- Preparing 7 breakfast meals, and 7 dinner meals for up to 25 people each meal.
- Monitoring guests at the Evening shift, 5:15 to 11:45PM; and Mid-night shift, 11:45pm to 7:15 AM.
- Setting-up cots, tables and chairs on December 13^th.
- Breaking down cots and sorting the bedding to go to laundry service on December 20th at the close of our WARM week.
- Transporting cots and supplies to the next WARM site on December 20^th
- Packing clean bedding into duffle bags the week after our WARM week for transport to another host site.
Donations of soda, snacks, and water. Also monetary donations for supplies for the week.
We will have sign-up sheets for you to begin to volunteer for these tasks in the vestibule. Please prayerfully consider how you can participate in this act of love for our homeless brothers and sisters.
